Elamia

Terms of Service

The terms that apply to use of the Elamia service.

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1. About the Service

Elamia is a parent-controlled learning and writing practice service designed to help children build regular writing and reading-related habits. It is a supplement to school and is not a replacement for classroom instruction, tutoring, or professional educational services.

2. Parent account and eligibility

The family account must be created and controlled by an adult parent or legal guardian. By creating an account, the account holder agrees to supervise the child's use of the Service and to provide accurate account information.

3. Subscription and pricing

Elamia offers a 30-day free trial. A payment method is required to start your trial; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged.

Current pricing is $10 per month or $100 per year. Pricing is shown to you before your trial begins and before any charge is made.

4. Children's use and safety

Parents are responsible for creating child profiles, supervising use, and helping children use Elamia appropriately. Children should not be asked to provide unnecessary personal information through writing prompts or messages.

Users may not attempt to bypass account protections, misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or use it to harm another person.

5. Your content

The child and family retain their rights to the writing they submit to Elamia. You give Elamia the limited permission needed to store, display, process, and return that content as part of operating the Service and generating requested educational feedback.

Elamia does not claim ownership of a child's writing.

6. AI-generated feedback

Elamia uses automated AI-assisted feedback. AI feedback may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate in some circumstances. It is intended to support writing practice, not to make high-stakes educational, medical, legal, or other professional decisions.

Parents and children should use their own judgment when considering AI feedback.

7. Rewards and wishlist

Points, streaks, rewards, and wishlist features are motivational tools. Rewards are controlled by the parent account and are not monetary balances, cash, or financial instruments. Elamia is not responsible for a parent-selected reward that cannot be provided.

8. Availability and changes

We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features as the product develops. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section of your parent dashboard. If you cancel during your free trial, before any charge occurs, you will not be charged.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then, and no further charges will occur. We do not provide refunds for the current billing period once a charge has been made.
